Goalie

Nathan has been bugging coach Jim for about a month to get a chance to play goalie at practice and today he finally got his wish. I think playing goalie for mini sticks has gotten him interested. He played goalie a few times last year during cross ice but this was the first time he faced some pretty hard shots and the boys make a game of trying to put it off the goalie's head in practice. Colton (our usual goalie) was nice enough to let Nate use his helmet. Nathan held his own and had a blast. Now he wants to try being goalie in a game sometime next year... we'll see...

It's hard to believe but the hockey season is almost over (4 more weeks). It's such a long season but it goes by so quickly. We're at Georgetown this Friday. Next weekend is Adray playoffs at Southside. Go Hawks!
